In Dublin are running an article on the House Vs Techno gig in Temple Bar Music Centre on the 18th August. It’s a charity event organised for Sick, Homeless and Abandoned Children in Kenya, 10 euro on the door, all in a very good cause.

And in the Techno corner, we have Asciinoid, aka Liam Dunne (also known as Lmd64) who, along with his trusty laptop, claims to be “the evil twin brothers of Mylo and booka Shade, Vitalic and the White Stripes, Giorgio Moroder and Akufen, Eric Clapton and Underworld “. His sound is a masterful mix of minimal electro house, synch pop and just a sprinkling of punk and rock. He offers all this on a strict diet of “raw meat and booze “. A worthy opponent, I’m sure you’ll agree.

Pick up a free copy in various locations around the city, it’s the issue with the Pussycat Dolls (woo!) on the cover.
